What is a Skills Passport?
A skills passport is a formal record of achievement which demonstrates to you and a prospective employer, the skills you have developed during your working life. It is delivered via an on-line system developed by Lantra, the sector skills council for the land-based and environmental industry, to help record and develop sector skills. As it is an on-line system, it means the information is available 'any time, any place, any where'. If you have access to the internet, you have access to your Skills Passport!

What does the Skills Passport cost?
The Skills Passport system costs less than 20 pence a week to use over a year, and is charged as a one off upfront payment of £10. And unlike many other online services, there is no annual charge along with new updates and new tools provided free as part of the service.

How do I get started?
All you need to register is a current email, a password, chose something memorable to you, and pay using a debit or credit card via Protex. Once registered simply follow the instructions on your Personal Home Page.
